Lindy's closet determines the selling price according to brand, quality, demand, and appearance. Our trained staff, after reviewing your consignment, will determine its placement in this store. Please advise us if there is any item in which you would be disappointed if the selling price fell below your expectations.

CLOTHING CONSIGNMENT IN A NUTSHELL: 25 item limit per appointment; clean, pressed, and on hangers; all articles must be newer than 3 years; free from strong odors.

 

Remember, good-looking clothing sells for you and makes the store a delight to shop in. We will return hangers to you upon consignment. Although we take every precaution to protect your items, Lindy's Closet is not responsible for losses due to handling, fire, flood, or accidental damage.

 

NOTE: Lindy's closet reserves the right to remove and discard any garment that is torn, stained, or damaged without notifying the consignor. All expired consigned clothing will become the property of Lindy's Closet and will not be returned.

TERMS:  Items remain at full price for the 53-day consignment period then reduced for one week (7-days) prior to expiration. We reserve the right to reduce any item up to 20% for promotional events. (Expired items become the property of Lindy's Closet). Prom dresses are consigned starting November and become the property of Lindy's Closet at the end of May unless picked up by the consignor after the prom season. Wedding dresses are consigned for 1 year.

PAYMENT:  Clothing consignor proceeds are 40% of the selling price and are available after an item sells. Commision payments may be used as in-store credit at any time. Payouts up to $20.00 may be picked up anytime. If you would like us to mail you a check, simply all after your clothing expiration date. A $1.00 mailing fee will be deducted from your payment. Consignor's balance that is not picked up within a year become the property of Lindy's Closet.
